Frame Selection is Important
You want to choose a frame that will provide you sufficient coverage, as Avulux lenses are meant to specifically filter light to help you combat light sensitivity throughout your days (avoid frames requiring short/small lenses). Purchasing a new frame will ensure your glasses have the longest life, as old frames can become brittle after already being mounted with lenses.
If you're ordering prescription Avulux lenses, we cannot process Rx jobs requiring a step bevel.

Full-Rim Metal Frames
Full-rim metal frames contain a metal wiring that will travel completely around the edge of the lens.
Full-Rim Acetate Frames
Full-rim acetate frames have eye sockets that travel completely around the edge of the lens.

The below frames can cause problems with edging and mounting. Avulux lenses are created specifically to filter out the most harmful light consistently. Because of the requirement to consistently filter light, the lens is designed in a way that limits which frames it can be placed into. Avulux lenses are individual lenses that can be placed into individual eye sockets on a frame.
