What's the Difference Between Avulux Adapt vs Atlas?Updated 7 hours ago
Overview
Avulux Adapt and Avulux Atlas are two Avulux lens options designed for different lighting needs and preferences. Both are built on Avulux’s precision light-filtering approach to help people living with migraine and light sensitivity manage the impact of light.
What they have in common
- Both are Avulux lenses designed to manage the light that triggers sensitivity and migraine attacks.
- Both are intended for everyday use in triggering environments. However, Atlas is intended to be used outdoors only. Whereas Adapt allows through ~50% of light while indoors and blocks ~85% of light as it darkens dynamically outdoors.
- Both are designed to help manage the impact of light as part of a healthy lifestyle.
How they’re different (plain language)
Adapt and Atlas are configured for different use cases. The simplest way to think about it is:
- Adapt is optimized for people who need a dynamic lens that allows them to go from indoors to outdoors with just one pair of glasses.
- Atlas is optimized for people who spend most of their time outdoors, and especially in highly reflective environments (while fishing, around snow, hiking, etc).
